Paulo Sérgio Silva, o Paulão, has been an internet pioneer in Latin America since the 1980s and brings successes in the area of ​​innovation and digital transformation.

Founder and executive director of RockOn Advisors, a consultancy specializing in e-commerce, digital media and consumer experience in the virtual ecosystem. He is also an advisor to large companies and a professional speaker.

Since September 2018,

he has been an independent member of the Board of Directors and integrates the Strategy Committee of Lojas Marisa. In March 2019, he was elected an independent member of the Board of Directors of Ri Happy. Two companies that are among the main Brazilian retailers and are a reference in their niche markets.

he never gave up his artistic side: passionate guitarist, Paulão is the leader of the band Soul Good. In 2012, when he took a break for a few months in executive life, he was able to dedicate himself more intensely to the guitar. So, he ended up using that time to explore opportunities and invest in the entertainment area.

From 2015 to 2018, he was CEO of in Brazil, a company he has been part of since 2013. Leading a team of 1,300 employees, he was responsible for the strategies that guaranteed the company's sustainable growth in Brazil.

More than working for a single company, Paulão played a decisive role in establishing and strengthening a digital business culture across Latin America. Co-founder of NutecNet, a company sold to the Spanish Group Telefónica, was a pioneer in creating the environment for digital businesses. This operation would give rise to Terra, which, in turn, would become the largest digital media company in Latin America.

He was responsible for creating and implementing the first rules of the online advertising market back in 1997. In 1999, he joined the multinational task force that would launch the first video ads for the internet. It is worth mentioning that Paulão was also one of the founders of IAB Brasil.
